I have purchased a Nokia handset E90 from M/s. Subiksha Mobile, Chennai on 9.1.2008
And is covered under warranty.
After a couple of months of purchase, I started having problem with the instrument. I used to miss several calls, as the ring tone was restricted to a single ring. I approached your service center M/s. Rocky Agencies, Chennai. A few times for the same problem. Every time I had to wait a long time before being attended by any technician. Then the instrument would be handed over back informing that the problem was rectified. No proper response on the reason for such problem was ever provided.
However, the problem persisted- as you could see that I have visited your Agency with the same problem several times. Then suddenly on 28.6.2008, the outer display went blank totally off and again. I would receive a single ring. To see the details of the call, I had to see the inner display and take the call.
Hence, I went to your service center again. They informed that the defect could be rectified only at Delhi. They raised a job card for that purpose (reference above).
Even after 10 days of handing over, when I called your Service agents at Chennai – they were unable to give any proper response. Therefore, I called your Toll – free number. The technician who took the call first claimed that the instrument was not under warranty. I countered that the instrument was surely under warranty. Nothing was said and the line was closed. After a few days, as I still did not know the status, I once again called the toll free number. This time the technician who took the call said the instrument is being returned back to Chennai because of WATER LOGGING.
I have collected my instrument. As I am very confident that I have never let water get into the instrument and the instrument had problem even shortly after its purchase, the remark is not acceptable. There is not even a mention of whether the defect could be rectified or not. I am thoroughly dissatisfied with the quality of service. I request you to look into the matter and revert to me on my mobile.

Please don’t buy NOKIA Handsets with the belief that they got very good service centre. Believe it or not.. I got 3 Nokia High End Handset which are rendered useless by Nokia Priority Care People..
If they couldn’t find the problem in ur handset, they would simply say water logging. If u bring ur handset for the second or third time with the same problem, they’ll say water logging. Once I gave my Nokia 6680 im Tambaram Priority Care for removing the dust. The Lady who attended me just told me that water logging and they cant service my hanset.After all it was a working good. Then a guy came n took my mobile n returned it after a couple of days with speaker not working. then returned with that problem, then they said water logging and returned. After such several bad experiences with NOKIA Handsets, i moved to PDAs and Smartphones.. Please do not rely on their service, if u r going to buy a NOKIA Handset..
