Airtel Chennai Network Down ?
Airtel Chennai’s Network was down for about 2 hours today . As I write this post , the network seems to be back up.
Both General users and Blackberry users were complaining of lack of coverage.
I myself saw a 0 in the signal strength indicator for about an hour and my 6630 had switched to 3G.
very poor network, very worst, try to change it soon, otherwise all existing customers will tutn to aircel..
Airtel network is very,very poor in our office premises which is situaed at 563/2,Anna Salai, Teynampet,chennai- 18. we were informed ,telephoned, emailed and also given a compliant by person also in so many times at airtel office past 7 months but there is no proper responce for our query’s so my company like swithched to Vodafone Network shortly, like us somany people’s are suffering in poor network coverage of Airtel Network. if its continued the Airtel Network will loose somany customers in Chennai Circle.

Aircelcel is a fuck-in network as of chennai buddy… As you said when Airtel down, prefer anothers like vodafone. These aircel mother fuckers are ……………… nothin when compared to airtel
Airtel network & its cell info.Name isn’t display on any handset. Total Bihar & JHAQKHAND is affacted by it. It custumer is facing this problem. Pls. Help theme.
Airtel has improved a lot now and has rectified its prob. The signal is better than other gsm networks
airtel network is very very down in south kaveri street near mattupalam market,west mambalam,chennai frm past 3days onward .we r feeling very in conveniance so pls make a step to strength signal .

Today I tried to call multiple STD numbers from AIRTEL network. All calls were going to some local numbers. When tried to contact AIRTEL they said “yes there is some network problem and they are trying to rectify the same”. When I asked them to register a complaint, they said sorry we can not register a complaint now, as all the customers are facing the same issue. Also they told that the money will not be refunded for which they have charged for a wrong connection.
Please unite together to fight against the monopoly and unfair business practices. How they can charge for a wrong connection which has happened due to fault at their(operator’s) end.
airtel is realy very poor network compare to aircel in tamilnadu bsnl is the best netwok.chennai is a city but in city also airtel is not working properly.pleeeeeeeease rectify the problem
here in vellore which is 127km apart from chennai, the network problem is even worst from past 2 weeks.. specially in hostel premises of VIT,Vellore.. messages r not going..if too lucky,then once after trying more than 15 times.. forget about delivery reports.. STD calls r not getting connected at all.. GPRS stopped working for several hiurs..if working,too slow!
Airtel idiots are loose cannons. The guys install a DP box in front of my empty plot when the connection is taken by I suspect the neighbouring flat. As I dont live in Chennai, I notice it one day and am chasing them. It is not Airtel alone, in Chennai everyone seems to do nothing and dump their shit on their neighbours. So much for this degraded city!

Hai.. Airtel have heavy network problems …. And vodafone is also very poor stupits ,pigs any time network busy
